All eligible members of the Credit Union are covered for the Death Benefit Grant. This is offered at no additional cost to the member and means that in the event of your death, a payment up to the value of €1,500 will be paid to your nominee or family (if no nomination exists on the account). The payment of the grant and the payee is entirely at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Share balances at date of death will be matched up to a maximum amount of €1,500.

To avail of this grant the following conditions apply:

* Death benefit is restricted to one payment per member.
* Next of kin must supply a death certificate when applying for this grant.
* Only the first named member on a joint account is covered.
